She's just about done the way I want her. Torsen LSD rear end is up, the 6-speed transmission will replace the 5-speed next week and the poly bushings will go up as well. The 2-year process is documented in an exhausting build thread on Probetalk (link in sig).

I'm very happy with the end result, but not with how much work it took. But hey, you learn something new everyday.

Nice work man, I mean how the hell did you make all that transformation work... speechless to say the least.

I'm guessing you have a thread on pt about it ?

It's almost done now. Should be in time for April MOTM entry.

Now it's got the 6-speed, ACT clutch, Torsen, poly bushes, actual coilovers, a KLZE, CARB-approved intake, and a more complete interior (including basic audio!)

Looking forward to being on the road again.

That is just nutty. Car guys like you make the world more interesting.

I think it's done, for now.

Just got it CARB certified, passed smog cleanly. So yeah, you CAN modify cars in Cali if you want to. It's not that bad.

crazy bro. thats just crazy. hats off to you all the way. props... Now, time to turn mine to a RWD. lol.

Details on the headlights? I'm assuming that's not a kit based on your past projects. I would love to do something like that with the RX7 to get rid of the heavy headlight motors and retractor assemblies.
