Flasher Relay? LED Hyper Blink Fix.

I bought LED lights for my front blinkers and side markers on my Protege. I haven't put them in yet because I am wanting to find a good route for fixing the hyper flash. I have saw plenty of people do the resistor method when getting rid of the hyper blink from running LED blinkers. Has anyone on here used a relay to fix the hyper blink. I came across this thread while looking for the same thing. The following looks like a replacement of the OEM 8-pin flasher module that will work with LED bulbs (and not require the 6-ohm resistor workaround):

I'm going to email the company to verify if it is compatible with the Protege.

I'm looking to do a complete LED swap on my protege, and I came across this thread after doing a Google search.
