Hello All...

Caveat.... I'm in Australia.

Now, I have downloaded a Gracenote file from the Mazda USA website. My question is twofold.

1: How do I know if the Gracenote version loaded on my Aussie CX5 is older than the one currently offered on the USA site?
2: Will the file be compatible with my car?

Cheers..!!!

Can you send the link to where you found the update?

I had the same questions you had for Mazda but no suitable answers

Copied from another post by Phluid13.

1. Go to mazdausa.com/Bluetooth
2. Click Find A Phone
3. Select CX-5 then 2014 then Touring/grandTouring from the lists
4. Select Media Player at the bottom.
5. Scroll down to very bottom where it says Gracenote and click Download.

Thanks.

I did the update but I use a CD... so I have no way of knowing the effectiveness of the update

PLease Help!!! I can not find the file or Download file
I am in FL
Thanks for your help

Thanks for the link.
Updated mine today, didn't take long and the voice command appears to work more effectively.

GRACENOTE
The Gracenote media database is used to improve
voice recognition of artist and album names with the
Mazda Hands Free system. To make best use of the
voice recognition, install the most recent database.
1 Load the Gracenote update on a memory stick
from www.MazdaUSA.com/USB. Insert memory
stick into the USB port.
2 Push the PHONE button.
3 Select Setup and scroll down to Gracenote Update

For those wondering.

Did this update solve any problem? Introduced any new issues?
Specifically, does it change anything with regards to not resuming USB playback?

Gracenote has nothing to do with any of that.

I have tried updating with a USB stick, but the upgrade button it's grayed out. Why, I have the latest version already installed?
Found the answer. Used the wrong link to download the file.
It has to be a 18.xMB file and not the 239MB file.

Hi tibimakai,

Would you happen to have any details on where you got the 18.X MB file for the update? I am only getting the 250MB file from Mazda. I am seeing the same thing as you with the Update Now button is grayed out.

Thanks!
