High Output Alternator worth it?

will this fry things up during peak output ?

i was thinking maybe 198 would be a good investment for dual battery setup ?

according to their site no. just gotta use a "jumper" cable and another fuse in order to keep the battery from getting any damage. and at $198 its about $30-60 more than a regular reman. 80 amp alternator from a parts store.

Supposedly it can fry the ecu since the ecu controlles it. All hear say though I've seen 2 threads about it happening to people but I've never seen it for myself or other things that could have caused it

HMMM, strange, yea i havent run across any threads on here about it frying the ecus. and their site advertises that it wont since the ecu supposedly only draws the power it needs, not any excess. i just want to be able to get better power and eliminate the horrible low voltage issue these cars have. barely use the power windows and i see all my dash lights dim down.
