great job on the mods.
how long did you have your plasti did wheels for?
was there any ware and tear?

So I also added a set of NGK Iridium Spark PLugs...Gapped them at .050 specs. that the Owners Manual said to do.

My acceleration seems to be a lot smoother now....Hopefully will make my MPG's improve too!

Sorry forgot to snap a picture of them....hahaha!

That was the WORST decision ever to use PlastiDip.....it looked good for the 1st month and just started to look like s*** and started to peel...etc....after that experience I will never ever use that on my Pride & Joy again.

Installed TRS Clear Lens to replace the OEM Foggy Lens....And a picture of the cut-off too! :)

Getting Ready...

Hey Goldie2009, which car do you think is more reliable. The Scion tc or the Mazda3? I'm looking to buy one or the other within the next few weeks.

I had a 2006 tC.... 1st gen tC in my opinion looks better than the current model....Not sure what year tC you are going for. Overall it was a fun car to Mod "very" reliable no issues...Only mechanically issue I came around was the water pump went bad at around 98k miles....Thats basically it....I always did the usual maintenance etc..

My Mazda is a 2009 model...Overall an upgrade from my tC as in Handling, Interior Design and other functions....The mazda is a b**** to work on though I have injured myself 3 times more vs. working on the tC....haha...Only thing I really hate about my Mazda is the MPG's I get an average 25 MPG no matter what I do.

the tC got about 28-29 MPG Highway....about 24-25 City..

I would Test Drive both models.....Its driver preference.

I hope that this wasn't the first wax in the few years you've had the car ;)

I've been into detailing for a little bit, even started my own small detailing business. If there's any advice I can give, it's that the detailing products you can order online (detailers domain, auto geek, etc.) are typically so much better than the standard over the counter products like Meguiars. A good entry or brand to working with is Adams Polishes - very easy to use, great finish. That's what I use for my business almost across the board for standard jobs.

I apologize if none of this information is helpful/new to you, or if it's already posted in another section. Still new... (nana)

Completed my Custom Exhaust w/ a 16" OBX Brand Resonator....The results are it did make the exhaust sound louder at lower RPMs and a lil deeper sounding too not bad for spending a total of $320 for everything including install vs. paying $500 plus for a direct bolt-on exhaust!

Installed & took a cruise on these new KYB Gas a Shocks.....I previously had the Excel-G's those were good but got soft and wore out within a year and a half, when I took off the Excel-G shocks the rebound was bad on them, also i was rubbing bad in the rear over almost every bump & turn..I knew something was going on..After replacing them w/ these Gas a Shocks what an incredible handing & feel difference the rubbing over bumps practically disappeared...So far really like this choice!

Bought 3M Brand Black Ebony Woodgrain vinyl overlay....It posed a challenge since the vinyl they gave me was cut the wrong way off the roll..the overlay was not long enough to cover my dash piece I got creative and put a few vertical accent on the dash piece...haha...I also Vinyl Overlayed the Steering Wheel pieces, and the Center Console & HVAC...

Car looks great, also I really like what you did with that woodgrain vinyl, good choice on the color. I'd like to do something similar.

I got an 08 Mazda5 GT in Golden Sand Metallic a few weeks ago...You almost NEVER see this color mazda, I'd only seen the color in photos before. I do have plans to lower my 5 on some classy 18's that I bought last year (before i even had the car to put them on!) among some other changes.

Ok, BRB, need to click through your thread page by page now and subscribe to it.
