I spend a fair amount of time thinking about what car I will own after the P5, even though I plan on owning the car another 10 years. I guess it's just the car enthusiast in me, to always ask the question "would I own that?" I'm curious as to what people have moved on to, or have thought about moving on to.
Some possibilities:
-New Ford Focus
-GTI
-Mazda3
-Acura TSX Sport Wagon
Others?
A lot of people move onto Subarus. I would too, but those things are just too damn expensive, even after 8-10 years old.

I am thinking on moving to something more luxurious. I have been looking at GS300's ( 1st and 2nd Gen's ) and Infiniti M35's. I want a cruiser and a sort of VIP style vehicle. I would have bought a 99 GS300 Black on Black a couple days ago but got beat to it. Only wanted $7K with 140K on the ODO and it looked imaculate. Going to keep looking though. Cheapest M35 I found so far is at $12K also Black on Black with 120K on the ODO. Will still keep the wife's MS3 but will unfortunately probably sell the P5.
I already have a bike (Suzuki SV650) so I definitely get my speed fix there. I think I'll probably end up in another sport wagon, but hopefully something a bit nicer and quieter on the highway. Something like an Audi A4 Avant would be awesome. The A3s look a lot like our cars too.

After 3 RX-7's and an Audi (among other things) its a safe bet I'll add an FD and an S4 in the near future. The P5 stays in the family though. A WRX wagon is in the cards too for the right price.
something with more room and luxury for me. fully loaded murano or FX35. but the wife already has a rogue so i might go with the smaller car for date nights. G35 or 37 would be my route.

If your not opposed to used then how about a Mazda6 s wagon. i just replaced my 02 Protege5 with one last week. I found a nice one with a 5 speed. The power is great and the ride feels like a much more expensive car. Already began modding it.
Looks like we will be likely trading in our Speed3 for another vehicle and keeping the P5 as it is paid off. We want to lower our payment where we can relax more with our bills so a newer used car will be in our future. Don't know what yet but as I have stated we want something more comfortable and luxurious. Sad to see the Speed3 go but I can always get another in the future.
