Hello everyone,I have two (2) original 2009 Mazda 5 switchblade keys for sale.
Before you even ask... the 2009 Mazda5 I owned is... gone !! Loved it...
Early on - when I got the car - I had a regular key made because I had an alarm system installed. Did not use the switchblades because I used the alarm remote. These two keys were my "backup" keys.
From what I recall, programming the key I used for the everyday use of the car - took something like a minute or so. I needed these two keys to program the third one.
As you can see, these are in excellent condition - lets say "practically new".
When I press on the buttons, there is a red light that lights up. I do not know what other description of the state of charge of the batteries I can give you.
Key #1
Key #2
I read somewhere - a long while back - that there is something to look for in the FCC number. I can't recall what...
Anyhow, this is the best picture I could take of that number...
These are switchblade keys that were on a 2009 Mazda5 Canadian version (sold in Quebec).
I would imagine that they work on North American models. Maybe from model years 2006 to 2010.
In 2009 these keys (Mazda OEM replacement) sold for 350.00$ (CAD - Canadian Funds).
Today, they go for about 190.00$ (CAD) straight from Mazda.
There are blank (un cut) blades for sale somewhere. I do not recall where exacly.
Maybe www.mazdaparts.org... not sure !!
By memory I'd say they go for something like 6 or 8 bucks each.
If someone knows where, please reply to help out potential buyers.
I am willing to part from them for :
90.00$ each (CAD - Canadian Funds) + shipping
or
160.00$ for the both of them (CAD - Canadian Funds) + shipping
