So after Hibernating all winter I decided to finally buy some new things:

Thanks, Congrats on MOM.

thanks, did you get the flush mount plates for your Aerocatch latches? i would not install a set without them now since i added them to mine last winter, the latches feel more secure and the load is better displaced on the hood.

Thanks,
I will order them later this week.
Edit: Just placed my order, looking to install when I get back from MA next week.

Plans for this spring:
-Repaint front bumper and lip
-Paint and install my other C/F hood
-Redo all my turbo piping in stainless
-Redesign and build a new trunk set-up
-Fix scratches (try to buff out, if not repaint)

Holpfully I can afford everything above but we will see.

Well, I don't have any red on my car so the Hella Horns would not be the first thing:

Since I have been working 13 hrs a day Nothing will be installed until Saturday. Holpfully my flush kit will get here by then so I can cut my hood apart :)

Well today was the day to finally work on my car:
I changed my oil/ filter, replaced a fog light bulb and installed my hella horns.

The Hella install was a little longer than I thought it would be but I did have to wire up my sparco steering wheel for the horn. I have not had a functional horn for the last year so I go from nothing the the supertones........defiently made a diffrence :)

Im digging the blue hellas. But on a similar note im loving the car without so much blue! Haha

The Hellas are suttle, hidden behind the C/F Grill mesh......... Barely seen unless you are looking :)

LOL.........yeah...... I had round 1- then went on cruise for 7 mths, then round 2 and I ended up going on cruise for 8 months....... #3 was the most productive which is all in my 1st post of #4 but it was accidently deleted........... So #4 is now adays ;)

Rob

looks good Rob, i like how you painted your CF hood its subtle.

Thanks, I have another C/F hood I am trying to figure out how to paint it.

Well today I took care of the list that was on my fridge........ Fixed my return line turbo leak, retorqued every bolt (my front tie bar was loose causing a clunk), fixed my driver rear wheel camber, fixed some screwed up interior pieces and fixed a loose ground to my volt guage. Nothing major but took alot of time and cleaned up some old issues......... Now it is time for new toys. I dont have much money now but new sparco pedals, shift knob and a quick release hub for my steering wheel. Little things keep me going when funds are low ;). This weekend I am ripping out my trunk and redesigning it with only 1 sub..........

Rob

Thanks.........
I cleaned and painted stuff in the engine bay.

Well my wifey had a migrain so I spent the evening fixing a few issues..........
#1: My foglights were aimed way wrong..... I got tired of blinding people so that was first on today's list which meant I had to take off my front bumper.
#2: After the bumper was off and I knew I had time I decided to fix my Perrin FMIC being off center by abt 1 inch.......Nobody ever noticed but I knew it was not centered! (BTW the wires on the right side are my Hella Supertones Relay and wiring)
#3: After centering the intercooler I had to center my NX Ntercooler sprayer
#4: I finally had the correct tools to fix my turbo oil return line slow ass leak........(well see tomorrow)
