    Question '11 Speed3 - Springs & Tires

    Hey Everyone,

I have 2 questions that I would like to ask and get some feedback. Here is that information that will apply to both of the questions. I do not autocross or road race my car:

#1 - What loweing springs do y'all like? I want the car to ride nice and smooth, but a lil lower.

#2 - Since I've taken my car out, on the old air strips at an airport, the tires will need to be replaced soon. It only has less than 7,800 miles on it and I've had it since July '11. Here in Deep South Texas (Mexico), it is always hot and VERY HUMID!! What tires do you folks like to use to make sure they stick down to the ground.

I did a dyno on it less that a week ago and it puts out 270hp to the wheels, for now.

Im running Corksport springs on mine..its pretty low and they ride good w/stock shocks..I chose them because they are a linear rate spring..progressive rates feel alittle soft for a speed IMO..at least they(Eibach Pro Kit) did on my 09 speed3. The gap between the fornt tires is 2 skinny fingers and alittle less in the rear but it looks balanced to me..im running a 18x8 45 et wheel & 235-40 tire so its slightly taller.

Luv to drive fast..so move your slow @zz out of the way!

Im running H&R springs, they are a bit stiffer than stocks so the ride gets a bit bumpy, and I now have to slow down to 1st gear on rail crossings but now the car has a very mean stance, I have 1" of clearance on fenders, as for the tires I have BFGoodrich Gforce T/A kdw 235/35/19, they are super sticky and have good road wear.
