Hey. I was just checking out the 2010+ Mazda 3 Hypertech Max Energy Sport Programmer on Protegegarage.com... http://www.protegegarage.com/2010-20...er-mazda3.html ...and was wondering if it supports the 2.5. I looked on Hypertech's site and it has no suggestions when searching my car. Anyone know what's up?

Call Hypertech. They have CSA's that answer questions like this one all day long.
Gotcha. Anyone already try tuning their n/a cars? My friend with an 08 mazdaspeed3 thinks it's not worth it.

To me it's not worth it. If you want a performance car or a car you can tune then get one. If you can't afford a speed3 then you should look at cheaper used model performance cars. An older WRX would be a good choice. No offense but I don't know why anyone would spend money to make a slow car slightly less slow.

PS it doesn't even support the 2.5 after all. (even though it says 2010+ mazda3). Kinda misleading.

I believe it only says 2010-2011. It doesn't support the 2012 MS3 either, even though the engine didn't change from the 2011.

Talked to a representative the other day, he suggested to go on hypertechs site and fill out a product request for your vehicle. No word on when it will come tho. :/

Some members of another forum went with the Dynotronics tune for the 2010+ with positive results. I am having my done in the next few weeks. I have a before dyno already, and will do a post dyno as well, another member also dyno'd to show the gains.
