Hello All,
I brought a 2006 CX7 originally made for USA. It comes with in-built sat-nav unit and all was working well when I brought the car in Prague, Czech Republic. I was told that there is a western-europe sat-nav disc in which was working, and he gave me a eastern-europe one as well.
Anyway a couple of months later I moved down to Bulgaria. During the drive the sat-nav screen went pitch-black and stopped working. I guessed it was just out of range etc which was fine. When I got to Sofia - I swapped the disc's and restated the card - but the screen is still the same. It is black and has a small blue-line flashing in the top-right hand side of the screen. Worse thing is also - I cannot access the car setup options so I cannot change the clock or have access to other settings. The only visible screen is for the CD and the Radio.
Does anyone have any advice or help. There is only one mazda dealer here and not speaking Bulgarian makes it difficult.
