Homelink/Compass Mirror Install

Hello!

I just purchased a Homelink/Compass mirror. Does anyone know if I can tie into the wiring harness for the Sunroof instead of having to run wire all the way down under the dash?

If so, does anyone have the wiring schematic to know which wires to tap into?

You will need both a hot and switched hot, can't help with the CX7 sorry, if you can get access to it fairly easily, unplug it and test the circuits, and tap the lines if you find both.

Thank you! I know I need a hot, switched hot and ground. I'm pretty sure I can tap into the hot and ground from the map lights. I just need to know which wire from the sunroof harness is the switched hot.

so adding their accessory mirrors isnt just plug n play?

i was thinking about adding the auto dimmer mirror but dont want to rig up wiring on new vehicle.
