any of you guys know or can check if the dipstick tube is bolted or riveted to the block? i just noticed it either unbolted or broke off the block and leaning on a hose. lmk, hopefully it's just a bolt and can be replaced. thanks guys!

It is bolted............. Believe me I have removed it a few times!! 1 10mm bolt 3/4 ways up the tube!

There is an O-Ring at the bottom that can be replaced if it is leaking..

Bumping an old old old thread.. but how do you pull out the tube? I think mine is leaking and I would like to replace the O-ring, but I can't seem to get the tube out. I'm in the middle of a timing belt change so I have everything removed (crank pulley, belt, etc) so it's quite accessible. I don't wanna break it though, so it would be good to hear from someone who has done this.

Yeah, I ended up figuring it out shortly after making the post. It's just the 10mm bolt up top, then the tube pulls out. You have to yank a little harder than you might think. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything holding it in place inside the oil pan.
