2010 Mazda CX-9
I am planning to buy a 2 DIN stereo for my 2010 Mazda CX-9. I am looking for a stereo that will supports the control buttons on the steering wheel. I am planning to buy the latest Pioneer AppRadio because the specification said that the functions support on the steering wheel is customizable on the stereo players.

PLEASE SHARE YOUR IDEAS! ANYTHING HELPS!
THANKS!

Here is the one i am looking a getting for my cx-9 http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/ina-w910/. Its is a little pricy but it will go with my Alpine PKG-RSE2 rear dvd player, because you can link them together. also it has a lot of accessories you can add like a camera and steering wheel controls. They also sell the 900that is a little bit cheaper. Also you can look at Kenwood i think they also offer sterring wheel controls Hope this helps

Do any of these allow the continued use of the info and clock buttons?

That's not going to be possible since the buttons are on the OEM stereo. The clock will work, but you will have to plug your OEM radio back in to change for daylight savings time. Metra makes a T-harness that allows you to plug in the OEM without removing the aftermarket radio. Either of those radios will work with the steering wheel controls provided you have a module like the PAC SWI-RC to interface with the car.

It is possible using the connects2 CTSMZ011 Stalk Adapter. It allows to use the steering wheel buttons to control the clock and the car computer. Also solves the A/C issue that stop working on the 2011 model when you replace the stereo. I am using it with a Kenwood 9980 stero.

Actually, I don't think Rosen supports the Info button feature on the Head Units.

wow. that is pretty cool. here is the direct link for anyone looking. http://www.connects2.co.uk/c2search.aspx?manID=217&modID=1353&catID=24

its kind strange but they say the CTSMZ010 is for <2009 and the CTSMZ011 is for 2009 + but the pdf says
the CTSMZ010 is for non amplified and the CTSMZ011 is for the amplified (BOSE)
