Huge hesitation



I picked up a 2008 CX7 GT not even 2 months ago!! Great Little SUV until Yesterday...
I was exiting an on ramp and gave it gas...and BANG there it was HESITATION that just about gave me whip lash!! It won't stop jerkin ya until you ease off the throttle...THANK GOODNESS we have extended warr. through Mazda...Right now its at the dealership since YESTERDAY, they called me today and said that the first fix didn't work, and they have been in contact with mazda tech support LoL
Then they told me that I might not have it back before the weekend!! The one thing I will say is that the service dept. have been great, I can't complain about that...and yes they gave me a rental car @ no cost

The Gas that I've used Since May 24th 2011 likely filled up 3 times with 87 octane, 2 @ 89 octane and 3 or 4 @ 93/91 octane...that was actually the first question the service dept. asked...

has anyone else had this prob. with an 08 CX7 GT??

Mazda called today...still no fix, what they are telling me is the turbo is suppose to boost 14 psi and mine is 28 psi which is causing the prob. so it sits in shop until mazda tech. can figure out what is causing the increased boost. ZOOM ZOOM on the hoist 4 the weekend...

New TURBO being installed this weekend!!! hopefully thats the fix...

New Turbo installed, seems to of fixed the prob....hopefully this isn't the begining of worse things to come...........

How many miles did you have on the car when the turbo went?

it was right around 64,000 KM warranty covered everything....haven't had a prob. since and i am now at 88,000 kms

Good thing you still have an engine...

It was probably just a bad Wastegate Actuator.

it is very unlikely they replaced the turbo..
