Rims/Rock Chips

Wasnt exactly sure where to post this question. Been getting rock chips on my rims recently, and wanted to know if anyone can chime in on how to prevent this. May look into getting Mudguards, hopefully it can lessen the problem. I am running Advan RZ 18x8.5 45 offset with 235/40, and the design of the spokes/lip stick out a bit.

Any advice would be great!

Mud flaps aren't going to help with the wheel chips, but I can tell you the mud flaps have saved the rest of my car from countless rock chips. I have wide wheels and used to get chips spat up all the time from my tires on a turn. The crappy florida road debris doesn't help either.
