What do you guys think of replacing my stock stereo unit with something like this below? I'm sure it will nullify my electrical warranty, but I really would like to install the backup camera but dont want that tiny picture in the rear view mirror. I'm jealous of all you GT owners that came stock with it. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I don't think the ebay unit is the same as the Caska one. As for the INFO button, I am not sure if the ebay unit has it.

For the price, I wouldn't mind to give it a shot because the factory look itself is a dealmaker for me.

Did you purchase one of these units? I saw it as well and was interested in perhaps replacing the stock radio w/this type of navigation unit.

^^ The answers are YES for both of your questions, according to the manufacture. During the installation, you have the option to bypass the speed input therefore it's fully operable as you are stationary. This bypass is build-in the unit.

I am still waiting for my source to get this unit. I'll update it.

Obviously I haven't seen one but based on the photos on the ebay listing it is pretty impressive for less than $600. At that price it might be worth risking it.

The Pioneer that others have listed is excellent but more than double the price. Very nice unit though and considerably more sophisticated than the factory Nav. The only quirk I noted in the Pioneer is that it's traffic notification system will only work for the next year or so and will then be dead (MSN based). The screen resolution on the Pioneer is far better than the factory Nav.

I bought the pioneer avic - z120bt and it was installed today, the installer needed to order the kit from metra so i have to come back its pretty impressive, the steering wheel control works fine with pacsw1, ill post pictures when i get the kit, i also had an amp and a 4 farad capacitor installed

Well, here is the update:

I purchased the Caska from Foreverstar.com (same person who sells it on eBay for some $788). The Caska was shipped from China and arrived damaged to begin with, the DHL damaged one of the rotary knob.

The Caska unit has a harness port to connect to one of the OEM's plug. However, all other OEM plugs (I think there are total 7) are left useless. That means my oem Sirius, backup camera, AUX in, rear seat entertainment system and 3 RCA inputs, OEM Bluetooth, OEM nav antenna must be abandoned unless I figure out which plug is for which and cut them to connect to the Caska unit. Long story short, this Caska unit does not meet my expectations as the sellers told me it is simply plug and play.

My conclusion: DO NOT buy it from this seller or basically most things from China directly. I have to pay to ship it back to get my refund. The seller did not care about the shipping damage neither says it’s my problem to deal the DSL. Oh well, it was a bad experience after all.
