Hi, I have a 2001 Mazda protege LX 2.0 and I'm trying to replace a transmission mount on my car. Me and my dad just realized that getting to the transmission mount is going to be a lot harder then we had thought. The 3 support bolts aren't easily accessible at all. Me and my dad tried removing the wire harness right above it because if it was removed we'd have a straight shot at the support bolts...but one nut removal later we realized there is another nut holding the wire harness down. We can't get to it....my dad's only other idea is to drop the whole complete front clip from the car. And dawg.....I do not want to do that. I want the job to be as painless as possible....
Please tell me someone else has an idea on how I can fix this easily.
