Bluetooth Incoming Call Contact Name

I just got a 2010 Mazda3 (Grand Touring) with bluetooth capabilities; however, when I am recieving an incoming call only the number comes up on the display, not the person's name. I have tried importing my "Contacts" from my Sony Ericsson z520 (i know it's kinda old), and I thought that would import the contact's name as well. But it doesn't seem to be working. Perhaps my old phone isn't sending over the name? Anybody have any suggestions or have encountered this issue themselves?

Hey, I just got my 2010 Mazda 3 today, and I have the same question! Are we really supposed to memorize hundreds of phone numbers and who goes with each? LOL.

WOW! I can't believe that this problem of "Incoming Call Contact Name" is so old. I'm having the same issue on my 2015 CX-5 since day one and Mazda, Apple and T-mobile blame everybody else but themselves. In my opinion, the problem is the Mazda radio, because the same phone and provider works perfect on Toyota, Chevrolet, Hyundai, etc.
