B bucksatan Member : 2002 Mazda Protege5 Mar 16, 2009 #2 Just go to your local dealer, the part is about $60 brand new. It seems to be a common problem with the proteges, I know quite a few other people that have had this problem. Oh, and buy a new one, don't cheap out on this and go to a wrecker.
