Rear Washer Fluid Fill - Rear Window

Well we just had our first storm of the season in NJ and I am shocked how dirty the back of my CX7 is ! Of course it appears I have used the last of my washer fluid for the rear window. I have looked in the owners manuel and around the rear of the car and cannot seem to find how to re-fill it ?

Perhaps someone could enlighten me.

in the protege'5 the rear fluid runs off the same tank as the front fluid. Is your main tank for washer fluid full up front? If not fill it up!

Yep, same fluid reservoir as the front. I had to look in the manual as I assumed there was a rear reservoir too.

Rear Fluid

Well I topped off the front and then the back started working, I guess the suction line for the back is higher up in the tank. Either way good engineering as only having one tank to fill is much easier.... thanks for all the help

Yes, the pump for the rear is higher up in the tank (same as our MZ was) so you will still get fluid on the front even though the back is dry. For a little while at least.
