Spoiler Brake Light Wiring

Hello,
I am building a flasher circuit for the MS3 Spoiler Brake Light. I pulled off the brake light, but there is no where to mount the circuit board. Does anyone know which side of the car the TWO wires that feed the spoiler brake light run on? Or better yet were I can access them easily? Cheers,

open the hatch and the panel around the window top pops out... and you will have access to all the wiring to the 3rd brake light and much more room for goodies...

I did same thing - put in a brake flasher for the third brake light - adjustable blinks then solid (have it set for 5 fast flashes then solid now) - approx $20 on ebay (drive2)

here is the one I got - off ebay about $20. adjusts from about 3 up to about 10 strobes before going solid

I am looking for a faster strobe - this is about 1 per second - but works for me till I find a faster one (for the price). otherwise they are $50-80.
oops, looks like I just found one

$29 for 7-9 flashes in 4 seconds.

making it flash is easy - making it go solid after a few flashes is hard part.

here is better idea of how it looks... one of the other forums - corvette or audi or something has vids of them on a car.

can either one of you get a vid of your brake lights? i would like to see this

I invented that and designed that circuit and functionality way back in 1993, but neglected to patent it. Very easy really.

that would be fairly neat to do. Also it works as a precautionary measure to make the person behing you aware that you are stoping or even just tappin the brakes to say hey jerk off im stoping now so, you should to....i like it if i must say so...
