i have a 95 protege 1.5 and just replaced the head gasket along with a few other major tune up items. When i tried to start it up the engine just cranked over but never even sputered. I took out a plug and verified the fuel was geting to the cylinders and I amd sure I set the timming up correctly. So i'm left with a lack of spark. The Chilton had a breif trouble shooting of the ignition system and i got to the part the tests if the coil is geting power- no voltage showed up - so it said to check fuses and wiring harness for opens. all my fuses are good and wires are intact (at least untill the big wire bundel) So does anyone have any ideas if i should look at something else or if i'm over looking something. Any help would be aprectiated.

Thanks,
Rob

Check to see if you didn't plug the spark plug wires onto the wrong spark plugs. Make sure the order is correct by using a Haynes, Chilton or Factory manual
