How much did you pay for your Mazda 3?

I used to sell Mazdas...there is only about 1200-1300 markup in a mazda 3. It sucks to sell because everyone wants a discount and there isn't any room to move on those. If you want 18k out the door that would mean you buy the car for $16,782.16. That is assuming($20.50 for title, registration fees, $100 documents fee, 6.5% tax). If you go to a volume dealer it should be possible...good luck.

get a ms3 if your going to get a mazda 3 its only a few k more and worth the money.
IMO...the best way to buy a car is to go in and go through the process and when it comes time to make the deal tell him/her that you will pay $500 over invoice. Most dealers won't go for it, but some will and it sure beats haggling and waiting 3hrs. Another thing to consider is finding out if any of your family members or close friends get Fords discount plan. You could use S-Plan to buy it. Let me know if you have any questions, I can tell you all about how dealerships work.
I called the dealer, recorded the call, and he told me I would get my 2007 3 S Sport for 18k OTD with a 7k Down Payment, Financing 11k from my bank at 6.9% ( im 19 with no credit) for 60 months. Not sure of my payments yet because I am still doing my stuff with my bank, and I want to maybe save up a little more to drop my down payments.
I also emailed the guy after the call to ask him if the 18k OTD that he quoted me was correct, and he it should be right around that.

Im almost considering forking out another 1k and getting the Touring..
Im worried about my insurance rates, I am going to talk to my insurance guy tomorrow.

If they give you s plan ask them to show you the invoice. Best way I know to buy a new car is to offer 500 over invoice. Of course it depends on the time of the month and how much metal they had moved that month.

Its Fords discount program for its employees on Mazdas. There is also A Plan, X Plan, E Plan for Fords.

06' makes it a year old. Therefor you should be able to talk them down a lot. Whats the bluebook value of a used 3 with the same options. Start there...

Brand new '06 3i, AT, ABS/SRS...that's it, 18,200 OTD. Paid for in full when I picked it up.
