Check Engine Light - Code P0678 - Shift Solenoid Circuit - Help?

Anyone have any idea what this could be? And how expensive the fix is? I figured I'd have the code read at autozone before I dumped it at the mechanic, but I couldn't find much info out in the world about what to do about this or what caused it.

Do you have any problems when driving? A symptom of a shift solenoid circuit problem could be poor acceleration or a delay in response when you hit the gas. The shift solenoid (there are 5) is responsible for either pressurizing or depressurizing the clutch line and this could lead to a delay in shifting.
