On Protege 5's is the PCM the same as an ECU? I was advised to reset the PCM but is that the same as resetting an ECU? I've read that disconnecting the negative battery cable, pumping the brake a few times and then reconnecting the battery will reset the ECU. Do I do the same thing to reset the PCM? Thanks in advance.
