Oil dipstick

Is it just me, or does the dipstick seem extremely cheap and fragile? Last time I changed my oil, I noticed this. Am I trippin?

On a similar note, anyone replaced theirs? If so, where did you buy?

Yeah and it's kinda hard to read too. I take it out clean it, carefully insert it then remove and the oil seems to be smeared not giving good reading.
