    Handling

Yeah, the video pretty much sums it up..... There is so much more to this car than "four rubber things that touch the ground and something I sit on". It does feel like a relationship between you the car and the road which is no biggy when discussing a Porsche, but we're talking about something...

    Handling

I LOVE THIS FREAKIN THING! Light turns green as I approach carrying speed on a double left turn lane. I'm in the right, but realize the left is moving faster so I change lanes brake a little extra for the tighter turn and chuck it right on up the inside of the right lane guys. Once through the...

    Underseat subwoofer

I just haven't quite figured out if there is enough space in front of the rear seat heat duct to fit something in there.

    Underseat subwoofer

I got a 2012 5 recently and wanted to add a sub to add a little more bottom. I wondered if anyone had done an underseat sub. I want to keep as much of the multicapability as possible without having to run wires from the HU to the rear of the car. I thought maybe a bazooka bt6100 between the mid...

    Manual Transmission dipstick location.

I was wondering if anyone know the location of the dipstick on the 6 spd manual. I have looked under the hood and consulted the owners manual, but cannot find the dipstick. I had mentioned in a previous post that there is a vibration in the gas pedal in 4th while accelerating 2200 up to about...

    Got a 5!

I do like the 6 speed. Clutch is kind of like a long travel light switch, but the shifter itself is pretty nice. I do notice a harmonic coming through the gas pedal while accelerating in 4th from 2000 to 2700ish rpm. I am going to have at a dealer for tinting and they are going to check that too.

    Mazda 5 front seat comfort

I have noticed that things feel a little tighter with the clutch pedal. The previous 5 I sat in was an automatic.

    Got a 5!

Got a 2012 5 today. It has the 6spd and I am very happy with the way it drives. I drove a few vehicles this past few days figuring what I would like. 2011 Sonata pretty zippy, but is a sedan with the utility limitations (once helped my mother move and she could get more into her eclipse than I...

Thanks for the pics Johnny. It really is amazing how much space they snuck into these things.

    Mazda 5 front seat comfort

I am not sure if anyone has already mentioned this, but the base front seats on the Mazda 5 actually have lumbar support and I found them very comfortable to sit in. My current ride (2009 Rabbit) does not and you notice on trips. I am darn impressed with this little car. I have a 30" inseam and...

    Sleeping in mazda 5

OK, went to the local dealer and tried it out. Pass seat all the way forward with pass rear seat forward was able to fit in (5'11" tall). My concern was not distance to back of front seats, but distance to the botom cushion once folded forward to lay down the mid row seats. I didn't see a way to...

    Sleeping in mazda 5

Thanks chief. I work for a dealership with a mazda franchise about an hour and a half away, so I would not be buying from any of the dealers in the area. Didn't want to break their fuzzy little hearts lookin and leavin.

    Sleeping in mazda 5

I am considering a mazda 5, but was curious how tall you can be and still sleep in the rear area of the car. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
