So i shouldnt get it flushed? Are these cars known for transmission problems? Also about what rpms should my car shift at under normal driving conditions. Because my car seems like it shifts too late in the rpms. My car shift around 3300 rpms.

I really dont think its the engine going bad. the engine is pretty solid and sound really clean with no knocks or tics but i am wondering can a bad catalytic converter make this noise? My catalytic converter smells like rotton eggs.

I have a 2003 Mazda Protege es 2.0 automatic that smells like rotton eggs when i drive my car going at a faster speed. I know that the smell is from the engine running rich but how do i stop that? Also when coasting my car feels like it sputters once in a while. Please help me.

The car made the noise before they replaced the intake manifold and it still does it even after they replaced it. Any other suggestions? and if it was a vaccuum leak where should i start and how do i determine a vacuum leak.

Its not the intake manifold because i just got the whole intake manifold replaced from the dealership due to the recall on these cars. I just bought this 2003 mazda protege ES 2.0 autostick and it is making a sound like it has turbo. it only makes the sound under heavy acceleration when shift between the gears. What could be causing this noise? how do i know if i have stock turbo? THANKS
