I've already been through the whole bondo/fiberglass thing. It's a pain in the ass to be honest, and never turns out to look right. At least I can't get it to. I think it would look better to have it mouted from behind. I just can't find a double din install kit, only single din.

Do they make them? I am basically looking for one to aid in my quest for a decent looking in dash touchscreen for my car-computer. Let me know if there is such a thing. It for a MP3, btw. Thanks, Chris

Might have something to do with the fact that this thread was started 3+ years ago!!! Kidding (kinda). There should be some tabs that fold down, and secure the cage to the dash.

Not a P5, but here's what I did with a 12" Infinity reference. I swapped a 10" Kicker L7 in a kicker factory ported box for this. The Infinity sounds overall better, and was only like 60 bucks on eBay (older, white cone model). I would use one again in a heartbeat. CHECK IT OUT

I have my Carputer's GPS antenna also on my dash, on the dirvers side. I get a great signal, and don't have to worry about weather, or some A-hole jerking it off, as was the case with a buddys Sirius antenna.

Actually, the bezel needs to be redone. It was an original bezel that I bought, cut to mold the LCD monitor screen into, and then bondo'ed. It looked great, except when it got ultra-hot in my car, it cracked a little. Needless to say I was pissed. I'm going to go with a full-on fiberglass...

I finally finished my first 2 fiberglass projects. It's not so bad once you get the hang of it. It is very time consuming. Anyhow, the sub box is for a 12" Infinity. I installed a carPC and made a custom dash/bezel for the 7" monitor. Still have some touch ups to do, but overall, I'm happy.

Finally got my touchscreen monitor working. This weekend I'll be installing the computer/monitor/GPS/ect. Out of the car, it works beautifully. Wish me luck. (lol2)

I've got a wireless Logitech controller for my Xbox. I agree that they are nice, I prefer it to the regular corded controller. Batteries dying in the middle of a game is a pain in the ass though!
