    Ok, so, not planning on buying a new car, I stumbled across an used protege (323 called here), and it was a bargain. I payed 4000€ (approx. $5k5 - hell, prices here in Europe for japs are way off) for a protege sedan, 2001, 1.8 liter gasoline engine, fully loaded, power windows / mirrors...
