Did you address the cracked manifold? Also, how much boost are you running? If it's less than 11psi, I fail to see why you need a fuel cut defender.

I think it was programmed that way to avoid odometer fraud. This was a huge problem in the 90's. People would buy limited production cars and cars that were increasing in value popularity and they would disconnect the instrument cluster to keep the indicated mileage low. Then they would plug it...

Almost finished installing my GT28RS upgrade. I ran out of threadlock while bolting the turbo manifold back up. I'll buy some tomorrow and finish the job. Totally excited.

I'm in the process of swapping in a GT28RS right now. I just wonder about whether the fact that my ECU was dealer flashed with the update back in 2004 will cause any problems. I'll have to pick up a wideband O2 sensor soon.

Open the egr pipe back up. You can leave it open to suck in fresh air or put a breather filter on the end, but plugging it completely has been known to cause problems. ^^this^^
