I am wondering how to test the MAF. I think I may have a malfunction there but I am not sure how to take the reading on it to get the info I need. I know what voltage readings I am supposed to be seeing, I just need to know what to connect with my multi meter in order to see what the MAF is...

Pw, Flash, thank you both for you help. When the clutch is depressed there is visible movement on the crank pulley. Attempts to measure it put it close to 1/32 of an inch of movement. I figure I am prob completely screwed. Thanks for the ideas and the help.

Well, crap. It does sound a good bit like crankwalk doesn't it. Thank you for posting that. So if doing my timing does not fix the issue, then SOL is what I am it would appear. So would crankwalk mean a bottom end rebuild? Any other thoughts?
