    Guide CX-5 Factory Remote Starter - Install and Program

    Can the remote start remote be used to lock or unlock the doors as well? We had the dealer install the unit and they never said anything about it, nor did I ask. I was expecting that it would. After reading the user manual it does not say how to do that or if it can be done.

    Remove dealer decal from CX-5 rear

    Cleaned the area on a nice hot day. Used my finger nail to gingerly remove all letters. Rubbing alcohol to remove the glue, then a polish to shine it back up again. 10 min total.

    2013 CX-5 Remote Start Buttons/ Settings

    We just had the OEM remote start installed on our 2014 CX-5 Touring. I find it hard to believe that you can not unlock the doors from the remote start remote. PLEASE tell me that you can, or this thing is going back PRONTO!!!
