Weren't the tranny gear ratios changed for 2010 to take better advantage of the powerband ? Could this be contributing to your perception of 'faster' ?

A lot of nice stuff....the backgrounds were gorgeous and a good compliment to the man-made objects (the cars)....I liked the head-on shot of the vehicle accelerating right into viewer's lap....I would like to see the same shot with several vehicles in line behind camera car and accelerating up...

I can verify the 2010 3S HB has a spin-on oil filter, oil filter access w/o removing protective pan, and is easliy accessed by driving up on most standard ramps....as well as easily accessed OEM horn and 2004-09 rubber floor mats and cargo tray fit just fine.....

UPDATE: I just realized the thread title might seem exclusionary to the Speed3 folks and that wasn't my intention as I consider the turbo car in Celestial Blue just about perfect ! ( love that hood scoop). They may want their own thread but please post up pics if you'd like to show your...

I concur except I recommend starting the vehicle and let it idle long enough to fasten seat belt(s), check mirrors, and scan the instrument panel, and then drive. That should be plenty of time for the engine oil to hit the top end and begin lubricating the valve train....

Don't know if it's the same design for 2010, but for the 2006 3 it was a simple install using two small bolts with clamps that attach to the moonroof frame. Only tool needed is #2 Phillips-bit screwdriver.....

If you love to drive, the Mazda 3 is a great choice....if you just need transportation, the Focus will suffice. Drive them both and I think the build quality of the Mazda will be evident.
