I've been running my corksports for over 20k miles now and have over 87k total miles on the car. It doesn't bottom out much unless I hit a large pothole.

I kept mine between 40-42 psi. I put 65k miles on them and they do still have a small amount of tread left.

change the battery like Mike suggested. Mine started acting up like that so I went to the spare and after a few weeks, started doing the same thing. After putting in a new battery, both fobs worked perfectly.

Laramie gets worse weather on average than it is here in southwest Wyoming, but you should still be fine on a good set of all season tires. If you have the money or are not used to winter driving, I'd suggest winter tires.
