I have also been able to test them when you are driving. When the noise is present gently rock the wheel back and forth if the noise changes then you need new bearings.

I just used the standard white for Ford/Mazda at the autoparts store. Match was 100% right. And I am very particular. The reason I was able to do that was I had that old white hatch. I had some of that paint already and tested it out on that. Worked perfect.

Mine had a terrible clunck. The lower ball joints were shot. Replaced them with new lower control arms and all was well You will need to get under your car possibly with a pry bar and do some looking around.

Yes, valve stem seals and or the valve guides. I replaced just the valve stem seals on mine and I wish I would have taken it in to have the valve guides done as well. Mine still smoked on start up.

Just curious what options of rims do I have with this car? I would like to go with some factory mazda rims. They are 4 lug so I am sure my options are limited. Any thoughts or suggestions? I could be some aftermarket ones as well. Just curious what is out there.
