Cup holders
Nothing fancy, but you could just keep a black plastic cup in a holder and use it for pens, gum, keys etc. so you don't get the little cubby under the stereo scratched up or dirty. The cup can always be washed easily when it gets dirty.
Co mustard remote start
Mine does shut off when the doors are opened. Sometimes right away, but other times i have time to get in and apply the brake and it won't shut off. If I use the compustar remote to start it, I then have to use the compustar remote to unlock the doors too. The mazda...
Sorry man! I had rear drums and pads replaced at 20k miles and a SD card replaced for the Tomtom. My breaks and drums were 500.00 and the SD card was warranty. Oh.....and I had to replace the battery, which was prorated under warranty.
I called Brookdale Mazda in MN and talked to a service tech assistant and she said she is not aware of the issue and to "bring it in" to be looked at. I don't know how reliable the information is since I didn't talk to an actual technician, but the assistant said she knows what "they" know.
I work next to a Chevy dealer, and their website has a factory coupon for a full synthetic oil change and tire rotation for $39.99. Maybe other Chevy dealers websites have the same coupon some of you could use.
My 2013 CX5 gear shift does not light up either. There is an LED bulb under the PRND but it does not light up with the headlights on. I have searched the internet to only find others that have the same problem, but no answer to what the cause may be. I pulled all the fuses under the dash today...
I have a 2013 CX5. I just noticed the gear shift light is not lit, but has been in the past. I took the console cover off and the LED is plugged in. I have turned the headlights on and off and it is not lighting up. What are the odds the LED burned out? Everything else seems to be working. Could...
Coolant smell
Yes, I too have been experiencing that. I have plans to bring it in....i just have to find the time since the dealership is over an hours drive.
Hi Tibimakai,
I have this camera and it works great. The daytime view is VERY crystal clear. Since there are no inferred LED, and just the back up lights at night, the image is a bit grainy, but EASILY identifiable. I don't know if the camera is CCD or CMOS because the instructions don't say...
I am also amazed that there isn't a date and time on the home screen too. I get there is a clock below in the dash, but gee....what computer screen (especially a gps) doesn't have a date and time on it?
No issues shutting down when I open the door unless I wait to long and don't put my foot on the break.
I did have to give up a fob too. I looked at and talked to my mazda tech guy and the factory remote start required u to carry both the car fob and remote fob.the compustar remote is much...
The battery is taken out of the fob that is installed under the dash. The compustar remote acitvates the bypass switch to give power to the fob long enough for the the car to start by noticing the fob is in its proximity.... then power is killed to the fob. That is why the car stalls when u open...

No worries about anyone getting in car and starting it with the fob under dash. The remote for the starter activates it long enough to start the car only and then when u open the door you have about 30 seconds to put your foot on the break and pick up the signal of your second fob. If u open the...
