There is a setting that allows the display to autodim depending on the light outside. Mine seems to recently be stuck on always dim. I am guessing there is a censor that is covered by debris that makes the unit think it is always dark outside. Anyone know where this is? Or have other ideas...

Here is the scenario: Foot on break, car is in drive, you hit off. Anyone find it strange that the only warning is an audible beep? You can get out of the car lock it and the car is still in drive (but off).
