Yep you are correct. You can use the screen to fully control everything to do with the music on the ipod. I only have an ipod touch connected through usb and it works flawlessly. Just remember to turn off your bluetooth on your ipod.

Which is making me think after looking at the wiring diagram that we should be able to install some tweeters. Im assuming that all the correct wiring is there for the six speakers. Why would Mazda make 3 different harnesses when they only need to make 2. Ill have to check once I pick mine up...

I'm in Canada too and I was told only 4 speakers in the base model with convenience package.

Can anyone here from Canada get the mileage that Mazda Canada has been advertising? Or anybody from anywhere for that matter. The say it gets 50 mpg hwy and 37 city has any come even close.

Not sure if anyone noticed but on the wiring diagram does it not look like the connectors are there for the tweeters??

I had the same issue with my Cobalt SS. Found out it is because the clutch fluid and the brake fluid reservoirs are the same reservoirs. If Mazda has done this then that could be the cause. Kinda got use to it over time. But my cobalt did not do it frequently, once every couple of weeks.

What wheels are those^^^^^and could you do the same wheels on the sky blue if you are bored one day? I need a set of those!!

Thank you for the clarification on the camera. The towing question was kinda a general inquiry into back up camera systems/senors really. I have never used one but I pull a trailer regularly for work and was just wondering how the tech would work with something there.

Not to offend anyone. I love the technology and all that is going into our vehicles but whatever happened to driving the old fashioned way? Like using your mirrors and turning around to back up. Like what happens if you are pulling a trailer and need to back up. What do the sensors and camera do...

You can get the rebate if someone in your house hold has a mazda. As long as your drivers license address matches the address on the ownership of the person in your house who owns the mazda you will get the rebate. 1% I believe off the interest rate.

I chose the CX-5 one because of the 6spd and two because I wanted something fun to drive. Yeah the new escape looks nice but really the only fords that are fun to drive are the mustangs and the F150 Raptor. And well the Honda is Honda and I refuse to drive one.

Really are any of us planning on taking our cx-5's to the strip or on some serious off road trails. Unless you are, but i dont think you should these extra gauges are not need. And if it really bothers you that much, give it 6 months and someone will make an a-pillar gauge pod or something else...

What did the dealership charge you for the install? And did you by the lights from the dealership or online?

Any one out there know if you purchase the OEM fog lights aftermarket, if they are plug and play like the navi system or if they require a real installation?
