Yup it gets parked outside, but my other car gets parked outside and only gets driven 3 days a week where the CX5 is driven everyday and my other car has no cracking.

Bought it March 12th, currently has 9,634 miles on it...went on a 3,500 mile road trip from Texas to Wisconsin and no complaints.

Any news or more information on this? It's been over a month...maybe some pics or sound clips?!

It is possible with high compression engines. Here is the new FR-S that is turbocharged By the aftermarket (http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9942)...granted they run 12.5:1 ratio which isn't as high as ours. I just don't see the aftermarket making any kind of turbo application...

So we just drove from Dallas,TX to northern Wisconsin. Total trip was just over 1300 miles. First tank took us from our house to the first gas station off of the Kansas turnpike with an average MPG of 37.7...cruise control set at 73 mph. Second tank of gas was a bad tank..engine running rough...

I'm in Texas and with mixed driving were averaging 30+ MPGs on a fwd touring. We're taking it to Wisconsin in a month, so we will really get to see what this thing does.

Just 87 for me. That's what the engine was designed to run with, so that's what I use.

What I did with mine (only because it happened on my days off) is I called roadside assistance and had them tow it to the dealer the way it was so they could address the issue with the way the car sat. I had it jumped the first time and the dealer wasn't able to determine anything from it. So...

08 CX-9 GT. was getting 17/20 MPGs and it needed brakes, tune up, leather was cracking from previous owners not caring for it, and didn't need the third row.

They removed the headrests, and so far no issues but we've only ha it back for 5 days now. So I'm interested to see if this dead battery issue continues with it. On a side note though I did get a call from Mazda America asking about the issue and they were very apologetic about the problem and...

We had the DVD played put in when we got the car an it took 2 weeks for the battery to die. The second time it died it took a week and was sent to the dealer. The dealer said its a dead battery. They were done through the dealer.

So i go out to run some errands on my day off and the car wouldn't start. Now it has about 2000 miles on it now. After trying to start it, the electrical system stayed on on and I was able to take some video of what it was doing. It is now at the dealership to figure out the problem. Hopefully...
