pics from the tail of the dragon, but you can see the badges (or not see them, i guess). i'll try to get better pics once it stops raining in philly and i can wash my car a bit.

pulled them off (roughly per the how-to thread), sanded them down with 400 grit sandpaper. i had bought spray primer, but must have gotten a bad can (it sputtered out rather than srpaying, as if there was no pressure), so i skipped it. i used about 6 or 8 coats of gloss black (sanded with 600 grit in between) and about 3 or 4 coats of clearcoat spray. reattached with silicone adhesive from home depot.

most people seem to like it. my gf doesn't.:p

i dunno about other colors...i was going to do them dark gunmetal, but realized that the "Protege" badge is one solid piece w/ no openings btw the letters. it would have just looked like a big grey blob on the car. paint them body-colored or close to it, i'd say.

...but maybe that's what you meant...;)
