You may be able to eliminate some of the lower portion of the threaded section. Depending on what your spring rates are going to be and what suspension travel you need, you may be able to run a short spring and not use the lower half of the threaded section. That would give you more room to move...
The longer endlink allows for less movement of the endlink and swaybar due to steering input. With very short endlinks on the front struts you run into potential binding issues at high steering angles. That is probably why the shorter factory endlink is positioned farther away from the strut.
The measurements are actually pretty close. I bought a 5 lug 15x10 when I was going to use the Pro5, but it got totaled. I used the same wheel as a mock up on the 1st Gen. With the 275/35x15 Hoosiers I can hit the frame rail turning both ways, but just barely. It's enough to leave a black...

We run a 15X10" rim on the front and 15X8" on the rear. 275/35-15 and 225/45-15 tire respectively. We are planning to drop to a 205 series rear tire on the same 15X8" rim for next season. On the alignment we are running around -2.7 camber in the front and I think -1.5 in the rear.
Thanks. I'll be back down there for the NCAC in October if my work schedule doesn't conflict. I've been trying to go back to Black Lake too, but haven't been able to for a few years because of work.
Best run from the last local event before Nationals. Fastest non-shifter kart vehicle...pretty good considering we corded the front tires.
