    AWD Badge

For those of you who want to add the AWD badge to an '07 or '08, the rear liftgate is not the same as the '09. The '07 and '08 have a higher and more obvious outward flare across the bottom. In fact, the crease is about the distance below the CX-9 badge as the AWD badge is positioned on the '09.

Does anyone use fisheye/bubble mirror attachments

No problem I've used the bubbles for decades. My '08 GT has Blind Spot Monitoring, so I mounted them on the lower outside corners of both mirrors. Yes, both mirrors. Then, I set the mirrors down and inward to where they are the most useful when backing into a parking space or garage, and use...

CX9 Mud Flaps and roof rack rails

No problem here. My flaps have been through dozens of washes with spinning soft-touch machines and have never been damaged or caught the fabric.

    Thumping Brakes? Help!!

Same here The same has happened with my '08 AWD in a lot less than a minute. It happened in May, 2009 and again in July, 2009 - both times descending a mountain with a 1,700 lb. payload. It has also happened numerous times in heavy rain with no payload.

3 finalists to replace the Duellers

Three of the four models of Toyota's new Venza come with 245/50/20 tires. More options in brands and styles hopefully will be a result this size becoming a frequent OME.

3 finalists to replace the Duellers

I warehoused my Bridgestones after 9,000 miles and put on a set of YOKOHAMA PARADA SPEC-X 255/50/20 in January. My tire dealer said that the 245's would not ship for over a month, and TireRack was out of stock. So, I went with the 255's. The 1/10th of an inch increase in sidewall height...

    Programming Auto-Lock Function CX-9

Make sure that's what's most convenient for you. I found it aggravating that I could never get into my CX-9 when it was in a locked home garage unless I had the fob with me. So I had had the dealer turn it off. If I want it locked or unlocked, I just push the button on the door handle. For...

    Some LOW Doors!!

Yes, the CX-9 has lower doors than many SUV's. People have complained that that SUV's often have several inches of exterior between the bottom of the door and the bottom of the vehicle. In bad weather, this results in a lot of dirty pant legs and dirty long skirts/dresses when they drag across...

    2008 Sbm Cx9 Gt

Sure! Via MENU, cancel the original route. Then enter the new one. Although, while in motion, the new destination selection will be limited to places that are already listed as POI, etc. So, you won't be able to type in an address.

    MPG and Towing Package RECM

Exactly, and that's what I'm wondering. There's the opinion that it does nothing different when not towing. But, it would be great to hear that from someone who knows it for a fact. ECM aside, a towing package should reduce mpg some due to the weight of the hitch and the additional engine...

    Mile Per Gallon!!!!

My 2002 Escade averaged 18.5 in mixed driving and 22 on the highway. YES!!! I expected better than 16!

    MPG and Towing Package RECM

I've got 2,600 miles on my '08 AWD GT with towing package, and get 16 mpg with no AC running in 80% suburb / 20% hwy driving. Does anyone know if the "Revised Engine Control Module" that is included in the towing package affects mpg when not towing? I only have the towing package because it...

    Body Side Protection

Sparkling Black on White Pearl? I saw a neighbor drive by just now in a white BMW X5 with black side molding. So I just had to Photoshop a CX-9 with it.
