I found another dealer glad to do it. Does Mazda have an official policy on it? Does it affect the extended warranty?

it was recommended to me to save some grief and labor by replacing the rear coils when replacing the spark plugs at 60,000 miles. My dealer says that they have never replaced any coils on a CX9; so it is probably pointless. He is turning down some nice business, so I can't see him lying to me...

It was recommended to me to change oil on my power transfer unit. I asked my dealer about it and he says there is no procedure for it and they can't do it. I am so confused. Mazda has extended the warranty on the part. If they could avoid having to pay for replacements by recommending...

I was told that when i have my plugs on my 2014 replaced at 60k miles that I should also have 3 rear ignition coils and a PCV replaced as long as the plugs are out. Does that make sense? Same guy told me to change the differential fluid and transfer case fluid at 60K. Any opinions? thanks much

my understanding is that the original were defective and corroded easily. The new ones don't and should be permanent. No?

Our CX9 has just started squealing on left hand turns. We just had the recalled suspension parts replaced the day before, so assumed it had to do with that. The mechanic says they couldn't make anything squeal. He says a stone has gotten into the steering and is harmless. Driving in reverse...

Is the clog from the factory, or does it develop over time? If I just blow it back in, will it just clog again?

I have a 2014 CX9 with 50,000 miles. A couple months ago it started making a sloshing sound near the glove compartment on turns. We took everything out of the car, but it didn't help. The corner repair shop said a hose that drained the AC was clogged. They fixed it and all was fine for 2...

I have only noticed it when cold, but not sure. And it is not likely to be warm for 6 months...

My wife has a 2014. Noticed tonight that the thermometer showed 33, when two outdoor thermometers at home showed 38; which makes more sense since the weather forecast shows a predicted low of 36. Is an inaccurate thermometer just the way it goes, or is it something that can be serviced?

I have a 2014 CX9 with about 15,000 miles. Just noticed (its my wife's car...) that the brakes squeal pretty badly in reverse. They are fine forward. Never notice a car do that before. Is it something to be concerned about, or just the way they are? Thanks

I just got a new CX9. The dealer says that living in the Northeast automatically qualifies for rough conditions and a 5,000 mile interval between oil changes, rather than the 7,500 mile interval. Yeah, we have cold weather and salt, but doesn't half the country? Whatcha think; is the dealer...
