I want to buy the final drive gear that attaches to the differential. I need one to install the mFactory LSD, but since my original is unharmed it makes no sense to ruin it to install the other one. It is sometimes referred to as the ring gear.

Did you order yours from cross over auto?

Does anyone know what all is needed to install an M Factory LSD in place of the stock LSD?

So if an engine builder sourced a block (no internals at all) he can transfer everything over without modification? EDIT: What I mean is, he can take the internals from the mazdaspeed block and transfer them over to the other block
