There are other threads about this problem but the bottom line is there is no fix. I had a 2016 CX9 and now my 2021 and the same thing. The air conditioning just doesn't work very well. Everyone complained about this problem in 2016 and after years of complaining Mazda never came up with a fix.
I had a 2016 Sig. that did use a little oil but had fuel dilution. I could smell the gas in it. I have had my 2021 Sig for over 2 years and 36,000mi. with no issues.
It may be more involved and not have the wiring connections you need. It also may be very expensive. The oil filters I bought for $8.00 at the beginning of the year are now $12.50. My dealer told me Mazda went way up on their parts.
I didn't drive the car today but my wife will be out tomorrow. I have never updated the nav or firmware. I noticed it first on sirius/xm and the changed to the radio and it still rebooted. I will have to ask my wife tomorrow night.
I have a 2021 Signature and had this problem yesterday a 100 mile trip and it rebooted about 30 times. I didn't see any resolution on this thread yet. My CX-9 is 18 months old and has 30,000 miles. Do you think it's still under any warranty and if not has anyone taken their car to the dealership...
I had a 2016 and now a 2021. The air conditioning at best is cool but not cold. Things have not changed over the years. When 2016 hit the market that was the biggest issue with new owners. I have had lots of Mazdas and the air conditioning has been very cold. It's too bad they haven't addressed...
I like the the plug socket. Is there a part number for the one that will fit the small plug for the 2.5T. Also is the a web address for the company that carries these products?
I live in CA and have water restrictions but I can wash my car in San Luis Obispo County. I have friends that live in Santa Barbara, LA and San Bernardino county and they can wash their cars. What counties have restrictions?
Has anyone used Vredestein Quatrac Pro or the Michelin Defender LTX M/S? I am Leaning toward the Vredestein but would like to hear anyones views on either of these tires.
Not sure why you are using so much oil but usually its rings or valve guide seals and possibly the turbo seals. PT Guy mentioned using the Mazda oil filter. I had a 2016 sig and now have a 2021 sig and both used a little oil but I was also told by the dealer if you don't use the Mazda oil filter...
