Same issue here...I have almost 12,000 miles and it has happened pretty regularly but not predictably. Made it difficult to explain circumstances to the dealer who was unaware of any issues. They tried to tell me the tire pressure was different among the tires and may have signaled an issue...

Looked like a lot of fun! Don't think I would even consider taking my new CX-9 any where near the place though ;) A drive on the beach I might enjoy...

Just a note to my post..OEM harness came quick from carpartsstore.com and installation in my pre-pped vehicle was about 10 minutes.

Thanks cx9 sportowner and chumanj9..I actually found your post with pic, etc, after my first and ordered the oem harness right away. etrailer sent me a rma for the harness I originally bought with the hitch already~no problem. very happy to go the 'easier' way since my touring is already...

I just purchased a 2010 CX-9 Touring 2 weeks ago. I installed a Hidden Hitch (myself) from etrailer last night..extremely easy and minimally visible. Now I've got to figure out the wiring but would recommend the hitch so far.
