I don't know what you call it, but I just used an air tool thing with a disc at the end to cut right through the middle of the bolt and nut. nut fell off in half and after squeezing the bolt end back together I just slid it out.

See, I don't think those are the filler strips, I think those are just the side braces for the cross bars. So you're basically missing the other half of the roof rack. That's what it looks like anyways.

These filler strips are what I want. That yellow P5 in the remove your roof rack how-to looks so much better without it and I've been thinking about it recently. Seeing a couple WTB's and stuff on the for sale board made me decide to go with it. Now I just need to get it going.

Does anyone have a picture close up of what the filler strips look like on a P5? Also, What's a good price for the full rack set up?
