Why do you feel the oil catch can was a waste of money? I don't have a catch can, but I thought it was a good idea to have one in a turbo car.

The atmospheric (bov). It would blow off prior to shift and then again during shift due to the dual-piston design and basically made the car undrivable. You either have to do a dual valve setup or move your MAF to the pressure side.

Forge BOV - herky, jerky city as it would blow off at very low boost (couldn't be bother to do a dual bov/bpv install). Fortunately got it cheap used and will bring it back into service when I relocate my MAF to the pressure side(once the warranty ends ;-)...

Well, I fixed the problem somewhat last night. Thinking it might be a vacuum leak or a problem with spiking pressure due to the wastegate not activating properly because of weak vacuum, I decided to replace my wastegate/bov lines with silicone. Now I don't care what anyone says, getting that...

It is my understaning that you should reset the ECU after any mod because it is the fastest way to allow the car to "relearn" with the new addition to the system.
